1. Who we are

SportsCardPulse is a sports card collection management app operated by TMR Tech, based in the United Kingdom. Questions about this policy: tom@tmrtech.co.uk

2. What data we collect

• Account data: your email address and encrypted password, used solely to identify your account.
• Collection data: card details you add (player, year, set, purchase price, notes, photos). This data is yours and visible only to you.
• Scan images: photos you take to identify cards. Images are uploaded to secure storage and processed by our AI service. Front and back images are retained to display your card in the app.
• Catalogue contributions (optional): if you opt in, anonymised card identity data (player, year, set, variant, grade) from your scans is added to the shared SportsCardPulse Card Catalogue. No prices, purchase history, or personal details are ever included. You can withdraw consent at any time from Profile → Data & Privacy.
• Usage data: standard analytics such as app opens and feature usage, used to improve the product. No third-party advertising trackers are used.

3. How we use your data

• To provide the app features (collection tracking, AI card identification, P&L calculations, price alerts).
• To send push notifications you have explicitly requested (target price alerts). You can disable these in your device settings.
• To process subscription payments via RevenueCat and Apple/Google in-app purchase systems. We do not store payment card details.
• To build the anonymised SportsCardPulse Card Catalogue, if you have opted in.

4. Who we share data with

• Supabase — database and file storage (EU region). supabase.com/privacy
• Anthropic — card image analysis via Claude AI. Images are processed and not retained by Anthropic beyond the API call. anthropic.com/privacy
• eBay — market price lookups using the eBay Browse API. No personal data is sent to eBay. eBay Privacy Policy

We do not sell your data to any third party.

5. Data retention

Your account and collection data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is deleted within 30 days. Catalogue contribution rows are deleted immediately upon consent withdrawal.

6. Your rights (UK GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email tom@tmrtech.co.uk. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

7. Cookies

The SportsCardPulse app does not use browser cookies. Authentication sessions are stored locally on your device using secure storage.

8. Children

SportsCardPulse is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be notified within the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
